I’m back… Commissioned to do a portrait as a birthday gift from father to daughter.  Father wished portrait to be “huge” like 24” x 36”.  We agreed that might be a little large for his daughter to adore.

We comprised and went with a 20”x30” canvas.  Father gave me a passport size photo to work from. The portrait took about one month to complete.

Daughter (a friend of mine, had no idea what was coming), received the portrait with mixed emotions.  Although a beautiful representation, she Kind of didn’t know what to say or where to hang it. Gonna take some getting used to.

When I unveiled the portrait for the father, he commented “maybe this should be in a museum”.

Hi Friends… Completed first decorative design project in Fountain Hills, Arizona. Developed samples with decorator and client with the goal of transforming a powder room into an artful luscious destination…It worked out great! Client happy happy, making me happy and happy!
